The short version

MacScapes is free to download and use. MacScapes Pro unlocks the full library and features, either as a subscription or as a one-time purchase. Use it on your own Macs, be kind, and don’t redistribute the app or its content.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use MacScapes on Macs you own or control. Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

MacScapes Pro

• Pro is available for $1.99 a month, $12.99 a year, or $19.99 once. Prices may vary by region and include taxes where required.
• The yearly plan starts with a one-week free trial. If you cancel before it ends, you won’t be charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. On the App Store, manage or cancel them in System Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions.
• A one-time purchase covers the current major version and its updates. [TODO: confirm upgrade policy for future major versions.]

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. For direct purchases, contact support@macscapes.app. [TODO: set the direct-purchase refund window.]

Content

The scenes, palettes, pictures, sounds and icons in MacScapes are ours or licensed to us. You may use them as your desktop, lock screen and folder icons. You may not extract and redistribute them.

No warranty

MacScapes is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable and light on your Mac, but we can’t promise it will be free of bugs. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months.

Changes

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and mention it in the release notes.
